El Jefe negociador palestino, Dr. Saeb Erekat, exhortó a Israel a no escalar en sus ataques contra el pueblo palestino en la Franja de Gaza. “Debido al bloqueo ilegal, Israel sigue siendo la potencia ocupante de Gaza. Por lo tanto, hago a Israel plenamente responsable de cualquier daño a nuestra gente allí”.
El Dr. Erekat pidió a la comunidad internacional a que asuma sus responsabilidades y para evitar la pérdida de cualquier vida humana: “La comunidad internacional tiene la responsabilidad de evitar una nueva masacre contra nuestro pueblo”.
Dr. Saeb Erekat pidió la maximización de los esfuerzos para prevenir una escalada que podría afectar gravemente la vida de la población palestina en Gaza.
Dr. Erekat on Attacks against Gaza: “Israel is fully responsible for any harm to our people in Gaza”
Chief Palestinian Negotiator, Dr. Saeb Erekat, called upon Israel not to escalate its attacks against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. “Due to their illegal blockade, Israel remains the occupying power in Gaza. Therefore we hold Israel fully responsible for any harm to our people there.”
Dr. Erekat called upon the international community to assume its responsibilities and to prevent the loss of any human life: “The international community has the responsibility to prevent a new massacre against our people.”
Dr. Saeb Erekat called for the maximization of efforts to prevent an escalation which would severely affect the lives of the Palestinian people in Gaza.
